Lately several of my friends and acquaintances have started asking me about "this thing called LCHF", or "Low Carb, High Fat". Once the questions about the general health aspect and weight loss are out of the way, typically we move on to food and what to eat.
How do you make sure your daily diet doesn't get boring? Tip: apply yourself. Be creative with traditional recipes.
What do you replace spaghetti with when you make a spag bol? Tip: try sauteed shredded cabbage!
Are there any snacks you can eat when sticking to low carb? Tip: try celery or carrot sticks and peanut butter (unsweetened of course)!
And so on...
To help myself and hopefully also others trying to find good recipes for low carb high fat food I have created an LCHF category on the blog listing all posts about LCHF and also a Low carb High Fat tag in my delicious recipe bank making all the applicable recipes easy to find.
What are your favourite low carb recipes? All tips, anecdotes and experiences to share are welcome!
Bon appetite!
